World Health Organization: concerned about the escalation of Turkey.

 The World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe, announced that they are concerned about the rapid growth of coronavirus cases in Turkey last week.

The World Health Organization (WHO), a new type of coronavirus found in Turkey cautioned that spread rapidly. The WHO European Directorate made a press conference today through video conferencing and made assessments regarding the coronavirus outbreak. WHO Regional Director for Europe, Hans Kluge, "In the last week concerned the virus spread to Turkey, where there is a serious increase. 60 percent of cases were recorded in Istanbul," he said.

Seven of the affected 10 countries of the epidemic in the world Klug, indicating that in Europe, the United States, as well as Spain, Italy, Germany, together with France, China, Iran, Turkey, England and Sweden was counted among the countries affected by the epidemic.

Noting that the number of new cases has increased in Europe, Kluge said that as of this morning, 687 thousand 236 cases were detected and 52 thousand 824 people died. These data cover 53 countries and 7 regions.

Making evaluations about countries, Kluge pointed out that although the number of cases increased after the tight curfew in Italy, the spread rate of the virus has slowed down considerably.

Stating that the number of cases started to decrease within 10 days thanks to the measures taken in Germany, Kluge said that the death rate and the average age of those who lost their lives are lower than in other countries. According to the information provided by Kluge, the death rate in Germany is 1.3 percent and the average age is 49. Kluge caused this to show the population suffering from the disease and the tests commonly applied in the country.

Kluge called on all countries to recommend, protect, support and strengthen healthcare professionals.
